MMSN Featured in The Roanoke Times

Max Muscle Sports Nutrition was recently featured in an article in The Roanoke Times called “Father and son, to the max.” The article was built off of interviews with Mike and Josh Dove, owners of the Max Muscle Sports Nutrition in Christiansburg, Virginia. The article highlights the process that the father and son duo went through to decided that Max Muscle was the right opportunity for them. It also discusses how Max Muscle was able to give Josh the ability to own a business right out of college in a field that he is passionate about. A business idea was birthed Christmas Eve 2006, when Mike Dove, a former marathon runner, and his son, Josh Dove, a Gold's Gym employee, were working out at a gym in Atlanta.

They flipped through a Max Muscle magazine and later began using the products. As time went on, "one thing kind of led to another," said Mike Dove.

This common interest in fitness and nutrition became Max Muscle Christiansburg, a sports and nutrition supplement store on Pepper's Ferry Road just past the New River Valley Mall. Josh Dove said his father introduced the idea of purchasing and running a Max Muscle franchise.
